Mike Ritland – founder and owner of Trikos International – joined the US Navy in 1996 and served 12 years as a US Navy SEAL. During that time, he saw action in Operation IRAQI Freedom and numerous special operations missions.

Mike served as the lead trainer for Navy SEAL K9 Program for their west coast operations. He has over 20+ years of experience in importing, breeding, raising, and training multiple breeds of dogs. With his unique approach, Mike has trained thousands of working dogs for real-world applications and has sourced tier 1 dogs used in anti-terrorist operations and various law enforcement agencies.
